Stocks opened on a positive note on Thursday in tandem with the record-breaking turnover and indices in the previous session.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 38 points or 0.63 percent to 6,093.
Other indices, the Shariah-based DSES index moved up 6 points or 0.49 percent to 1,302 and the blue-chip DS30 index rallied 8 points or 0.38 percent to 2,211.
