Stocks opened on a positive note on Tuesday morning after the profit-booking fall in the previous session.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 17 points or 0.28 percent to 5,993.
Other indices, the Shariah-based DSES index witnessed a fractional rise of 0.52 points or 0.04 percent to 1,289 and the blue-chip DS30 index moved up 2 points or 0.09 percent to 2,197.
