Stocks opened sharply lower on Sunday.
In the first 30 minutes into trade, the benchmark DSEX declined 71 points or 1.35 percent to 5,183.
Other indices, the Shariah-based DSES index lost 19 points or 1.63 percent to 1,178 and blue-chip DS30 was down 30 points or 1.55 percent to 1,959.
