DSE sees lowest turnover in 7 sessions

On September 20, the Dhaka stock market saw its turnover, which is the value of shares traded, surged to Tk 2,832 crore, up by 46 percent from the previous session.

Similarly, investors saw the opposite as the turnover fell over 28 percent to Tk 1,300 crore on Monday.

DSEX, the key index, also finished 4 points lower to 6,510, while the other two indices – DSES and DS30 ended the day flat.

Orion Pharma and Beximco Limited were the top traded shares with Tk 115 crore each, while state-owned Bangladesh Shipping Corporation came to the third position with over Tk 68 crore.

BDCOM Online’s share prices continued to rise as it was the top gainer – 9.66 percent – on the DSE on Monday.
