As the prices of edible oil reduced in the international market, it will come down in the local market in a day or two, said Senior Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh.
He was responding questions at a press conference on the sidelines of the Twelfth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at the secretariat on Sunday.
The senior commerce secretary said, “There could be good news for oil prices in the next couple of days. Hopefully, oil prices will come down”.
Ghosh said after meeting with the oil refiners, the Bangladesh Tariff Commission will inform about the reduced price.
