Dhaka stocks open higher

Dhaka stocks started trading with a positive note on Sunday, in line with the previous session’s upward trend.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark index DSEX has increased over 53 points or 0.76 percent.
Other indices, the shariah-based DSES index was up by 10.59 points or 0.70 percent and the blue-chip DS30 increased by 6.26 points or 0.23 percent.
Over Tk 232 crore worth of shares traded so far in DSE, where PTL, RAK Ceramic, Fareast Life Insurance, Fortune Shoes and Power Grid were the top five traded stocks.
