Dhaka stocks started trading with a negative note on Wednesday, breaking the previous session’s upward trend.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index has decreased over 32 points or 0.46 percent.
Other indices, the shariah-based DSES index was down by 4 points or 0.27 percent and the blue-chip DS30 index decreased 16 points or 0.60 percent.
Over Tk 177 crore worth of shares traded so far in DSE index, where SKICL, ACMEPL, GSP Finance, Fu-Wang Food, and Appollo Ispat were the top five traded stocks.
