Dhaka stocks started trading flat on Monday, as it was slightly up in line with the previous session’s upward trend.

In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index has increased over 1 point or 0.02 percent.

Other indices, the shariah-based DSES index was down by 0.22 point or 0.01 percent and the blue-chip DS30 index decreased by 5.13 points or 0.19 percent.

Over Tk 92 crore worth of shares traded so far in DSE index, where SKICL, ACMEPL, Makson Spinning, Alif and Aamra Network were the top five traded stocks.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, the benchmark index of DSE increased by 29.42 points, or 0.42 percent, to close the day at 6,965.63.

The shariah-based index DSES index was up by 2.15 points or 0.14 percent and the blue-chip DSE-30 index increased by 2.31 points or 0.08 percent.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) had a turnover of Tk 894.98 crore on the day, down by 350.21 crore or 28.12 percent from the previous session.
