Dhaka stocks started trading with a positive note on Sunday, in line with the previous session’s upward trend.

In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index has increased over 33 points or 0.47 percent.

Other indices, the shariah-based DSES index was up by 4.23 points or 0.29 percent and the blue-chip DS30 index increased by 7.55 points or 0.28 percent.

Over Tk 110 crore worth of shares traded so far in DSE index, where SKICL, ACMEPL, Beximco, Delta Life and Power Grid were the top five traded stocks.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the benchmark index of DSE, increased by 89.19 points, or 1.30 percent, to close the day at 6,936.20.

The shariah-based index DSES was up by 21.14 points or 1.47 percent and the blue-chip DSE-30 index increased by 46.08 points or 1.77 percent.

The DSE had a turnover of Tk 1,245.19 crore on the day, up by 142.58 crore or 12.93 percent from the previous session.
