Investors are bleeding as stocks continued to fall for the sixth day in a row.

On Thursday, DSEX, the main index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, dropped by nearly 66 points or 0.95 percent to finish the day at 6,852.

More than two-third companies, including banks and other large-caps witnessed a price fall in their shares.

The blue-chip index DS30 shed by over 1 percent to close the day at 2,602 points.

Turnover, another key indicator, went down significantly to Tk 850 crore, down from Tk 1,129 crore and Tk 1,314 crore in the previous two sessions.

Market analysts said investors have become cautious as they feel an inflationary pressure because of rising prices of essential commodities and energy products.
