Stocks jump at open

Dhaka stocks opened sharply higher on Thursday in line with the previous session’s rally.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 70 points or 0.97% to settle at 7,266.
Other indices, the Shariah-based DSES index was up 18 points or 1.2 percent to 1,587 and the blue-chip DS30 index moved up 28 points or 1 percent to 2,677.
