DBBL to raise Tk300cr by issuing bonds

Private sector lender Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) will raise Tk 300 crore by issuing bonds on private placement basis.
The bank’s board of directors has decided to issue non-convertible zero-coupon unsecured bonds worth Tk 300 crore, said the bank in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The tenure of the bond will be up to four years from the date of issuance. However, the fund-raising through the issuance of debt securities is subject to the approval of the relevant regulators.
