BIGD looking for research associate

BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) of BRAC University is looking for a research associate for its digital financial services and women's economic empowerment initiative division.

The minimum educational requirement for the position is a Master's degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related discipline. Moreover, the candidate should have a strong background in Development Economics and causal inference.

The applicants should have ability to understand academic research and to analyse, interpret, and synthesize research findings, and excellent communication skills, including clear and convincing technical English writing skills.

The aspirant should have strong data analysis (preferably Stata) skills, including data cleaning, management, and econometric analysis for impact evaluations, and skills in developing research instruments (e.g. questionnaire) and coding for digitizing complex questionnaires.

Moreover, the applicants should have working experience in research grant-making facilities.

The job location will be anywhere in Bangladesh.
