BGMEA launches special mobile app

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) on Saturday launched a special mobile app for its member organisations in line with the “Digital Bangladesh” announced earlier by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mostafa Jabbar inaugurated the app at a virtual programme organised by the BGMEA, reports Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.

Chaired by BGMEA President Dr Rubana Huq, policy adviser to a2i project under the Prime Minister’s Office Anir Chowdury was present virtually as the special guest.

This app will act as a one-stop source of all RMG-related information to the BGMEA members. This app features industry related news, trade fair, members’ directory, pictures and videos.

The BGMEA members will be able to download this app from the apple store or android play store.

BGMEA senior vice-president Faisal Samad, vice-president MA Rahim (Firoz), BGMEA directors and various standing committee chairmen were present.
