The export earnings of the current fiscal 2021-22 will not be less than $60 billion though the target is $51 billion, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said on Monday.
Bangladesh’s export earnings will stand at $80 billion within the next two years, Munshi made the observation while addressing a programme in Dhaka.
Claiming that the country’s trade and commerce have become more dynamic than ever before, Munshi said the government has ensured 50 types of online-based services that help widening the scopes.
The countrymen want to get hassle-free trade and commerce related services and thus the authorities concerned will have to work fulfilling the people’s expectations, he said.
