BAJUS announces new gold price

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday announced the new price for gold amid a pandemic that has pushed up gold prices globally.
According to the new price list, 22 carat gold per bhori is Tk74,624. For 21 carat gold, the price per bhori is Tk71,475 and for 18 carat gold, the price per bhori is Tk62,730.
In a press release, the association also said that due to irregular international flights, gold dealers also facing difficulties importing the material.
The BAJUS press release asked all gold dealers to maintain the price until further notice.
