Dhaka stocks start trading in green

Dhaka stocks started trading with a positive note on Thursday, overcoming the previous session’s downward trend and DSEX, the benchmark index again crossed the 7000 mark point.
In the first 45 minutes into the trade, the benchmark index DSEX has increased over 17 points or 0.24 percent.
Other indices, the shariah-based DSES index was up by 4 points or 0.26 percent and the blue-chip DS30 index increased by 2 points or 0.07 percent.
Over Tk 220 crore worth of shares traded so far in DSE, where BSC, RAK Ceramic, PTL, Power Grid and Beximco were the top five traded stocks.
