Controversial e-commerce platform Evaly’s CEO Mohammad Rassel said it is possible for him to solve all the problems in four months.

He told this from the jail through his lawyer and Evaly published the statement on its Facebook page on Saturday.

Evaly said it wants to continue its operations to help Bangladesh become a digital country.

“If we are allowed, we will deliver all the goods,” said the e-commerce platform, which has allegedly deceived customers and suppliers, according to probe reports.

Evaly has Tk 544 crore liabilities to its customers and merchants.

The controversial e-commerce platform also said its employees are having a very bad time. “As our CEO and chairman are in jail, our banking activities remain off,” reads the statement.

Amid this situation, Evaly said it has become difficult to run its office and server, which has gone down. As a result Evaly was forced to suspend its website temporarily.

“We will try our best to restore the server as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience,” reads the statement.
