Wearing masks made mandatory again

In a bid to curb the rising infection of the coronavirus, the government once again has made wearing masks mandatory for the citizens.
The cabinet division issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
People in public places will have to wear masks, otherwise punitive measures will be taken against the violators, according to the notification.
Based on the recommendations of the National Advisory Committee on Covid-19, the cabinet division instructed the authorities concerned to enforce government guidelines such as ‘No mask, no service’, maintaining social distancing, among others, to curb the infection.
The cabinet division also asked people to undergo Covid-19 testing if they feel any symptoms like fever and cold.
In recent days, Coiivd-19 infection has been increasing across the country. For the last two days, over 2,000 people were diagnosed Covid positive, and the infection rate rose to over 15 percent.
