The buses in the capital are carrying passengers with full capacity while the trains are carrying at half seat capacity.
The government imposed an 11-point restriction that came into effect on Thursday but it is in effect for the public transports from Saturday.
Though the public transports were asked to operate carrying passengers half of the seating capacity, the government has changed its decision considering the public sufferings.
To reduce the public transport shortage as the offices, schools, factories are opened, BRTC informed to operate buses with their full seating capacity, Khandaker Enayet Ullah told media.
However, the health guidelines will be followed strictly, he added.
