US-Bangla to operate daily flights on Dhaka-Muscat route

US-Bangla Airlines is going to operate daily flights on the Dhaka-Muscat-Dhaka route from September 1, 2021.

The Bangladesh-based company will directly operate flights from Dhaka to Muscat on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and from Dhaka to Muscat via Chattogram on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

Besides, it will operate direct flights from Muscat to Dhaka on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and from Muscat to Dhaka via Chittagong on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Omani citizens, Residence of Oman, all types of valid visa holders and eligible passengers for the on-arrival visa can travel to Oman, as per the guidelines of the Oman Civil Aviation Authority.

Those over the age of 18 who have been fully vaccinated 14 days prior to travel will be able to travel with the certificate.

In addition, passengers aged 10-17 must have a negative report of the Covid-19 RT-PCR test within 72 hours of travelling.

All arriving passengers in Muscat having pre-travel Covid-19 negative certificates will be exempted from quarantine.

Apart from Muscat, US-Bangla Airlines currently operates flights on several international routes -- Dhaka-Singapore, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur, Dhaka-Guangzhou and Dhaka-Doha.

It also plans to operate flights on other international routes soon.

Besides, the airline operates flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jessore, Syedpur, Rajshahi, Barisal in Bangladesh maintain all kinds of health safety rules.
