Bashundhara Group has recently given Eid gifts to the hawkers' unions who deliver newspapers across the country.
Sayem Sobhan Anvir, managing director of Bashundhara Group, handed over the gift to the leaders of the organisations at his residence on Saturday, said a press release.
Abdul Mannan, president of Dhaka Newspaper Hawkers Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Md Shahabuddin, secretary of Newspaper Hawkers Welfare Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Sadequl Islam, circulation manager of Multipurpose Cooperative Society, and Md Ali, organising secretary of Bangladesh Newspaper Agents Association, received the gifts from Sayem Sobhan.
