Q3 earnings of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation rises

Bangladesh Shipping Corporation’s third quarterly (January-March) earnings rose by 28.57 percent. 

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday, the company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 1.17 for January-March 2021 as against Tk 0.91 for the same period of the previous financial year. 

Meanwhile, its net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 58.38 as of March 31, 2021, and Tk 56.03 as of June 30, 2020.

Back in the year 2020, the company offered 10 percent cash dividend to its shareholders. 

The adjusted opening price for each of its shares was Tk 44.7 during Thursday’s session.
