Al-Arafah Islami Bank rolls out new branch in Munshiganj

Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIBL) opened its 186th branch at Baligaon Bazar in Munshiganj on Tuesday.

Director of the bank Md Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan virtually inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, said a press release.

"Al-Arafah Islami Bank is not only making profits but also working for the welfare of society, Harun-Ar-Rashid said.

He invited all to avail Islamic banking services from the new branch. The Islamic banking system can boost up the country's economy, he added.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Farman R Chowdhury presided over the programme, reads the release.

Senior Executive Vice President Md Habib Ullah, Deputy Managing Directors Shabbir Ahmed, Md Shafiqur Rahman, Syed Masodul Bari, Among others, Md Mahmudur Rahman, Mohammed Nadim, Abed Ahmed Khan, Senior Executive Vice President Kazi Mahmood Karim, Md Mujibul Quader, Akter Kamal, Director General of AIBTRI Md Abdul Awwal Sarker, Executive Vice-President and Dhaka South Zonal Chief Md Manir Ahmad attended the event.
