Prime Bank partners with Farmers Best to ease agri-finance

Prime Bank and Farmers Best have joined hands to ease financing to the farmers and agriculture entrepreneurs of the country. 
The partnership will help thousands of the sector people gain access to finance to boost up their production and expand businesses, said a press release.
Under the partnership, eligible members affiliated with Farmers Best, a company that helps boost agricultural product marketing, can now avail of collateral-free loan.
They can also avail a wide range of deposit products and free Internet Banking – ALTITUDE - for making a broad range of e-transaction, the release said.
The agriculture sector holds immense potential for becoming a game-changer for Bangladesh economy, as the country have a favourable atmosphere for this.
Proper financial patronization to thousands of farmers and agri- entrepreneurs in distant village level across the country can be a significant contributor to the economy, it added.
