MetLife launches 3-hour Covid claim decision service

In response to the continuing impact of the pandemic in the country, MetLife Bangladesh has launched the first of its kind three-hour claim decision service for Covid-19 death claims of coverages up to Tk20 lakh.

With this fast track service, in addition to receiving the claim decision in three hours, beneficiaries of deceased policyholders will also receive the amount of the claim in three working days through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT), reads a press release.

At this stage, the service is applicable only to individual policies.

This three-hour claim decision service can be availed by sending an email to [email protected] with a simple set of documents. Beneficiaries will receive SMS notifications on the progress of their claim requests.

Commenting on this new service, MetLife Bangladesh’s General Manager Ala Ahmad said, “In times like these, it is our duty to do what we can to serve our customers and this three-hour Covid claim decision is our latest effort to respond to the pandemic situation in Bangladesh.”
