Bank Asia has launched a phone call-based banking service “Voice Banking” on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence of Bangladesh.
Rumee A Hossain, chairman of the board executive committee of the bank inaugurated the service on March 26.
AI Company Hishab has built its dialogue engine to enable “Voice Banking” service, which runs in Telephony Artificial Neural Network, reads a press release.
The engine will recognise the voice of the caller regardless of the Bangla accent and will be able to follow customers’ instructions over the phone and serve the purpose of the banking client.
Hishab’s solution will help to bring in the unbanked person in a proper financial umbrella.
Directors Romana Rouf Chowdhury and Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, President and Managing Director of the bank Md Arfan Ali, Managing Director Zubair Ahmed, COO Fayadan Hossain, Chief Sales Officer Mio Ahmed and Chief Evangelist Officer of HISHAB Limited Hiroki Watanabe were present in the inauguration programme.
