Walton inaugurates ’Dreamers Canvas’ project to deliver customised fridge

The country's electronics giant, Walton, has launched a new project named 'Dreamers' Canvas' aimed at delivering customized fridges according to customers' desired colors and designs.

Walton is pioneering in Bangladesh by offering customers the opportunity to customise their refrigerators, reports a press release.

From now on, customers can order Walton fridges in their preferred colors and designs and Walton will swiftly deliver the refrigerator of the specified design and color chosen by the customer.

These details were unveiled during the inaugural ceremony of the 'Dreamers' Canvas' project, which took place at Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Sunday evening (February 18).

During the event, S M Rezaul Alam, director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC and chairman of Walton Digi-Tech Industries, unveiled the 'Dreamers' Canvas' logo and website.

The event was also graced by the presence of Mohammad Rayhan, managing director of Walton Plaza, as well as S M Shoyeb Hossain Nobel and Nazrul Islam Sarker, additional managing directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.

Md. Ziaul Alam, FCA, chief financial officer of Walton, Tofail Ahmed, chief business officer of Walton Refrigerator, along with Anisur Rahman Mollick, deputy chief business officer, Tapash Kumer Majumder, head of Walton Research and Innovation (R&I) Center, Azmal Ferdous, head of Fridge R&I Division, Shahidul Islam Reza, product manager and Mostafizur Rahman, brand manager, were also present at the event.

Additionally, managers and distributors from different parts of the country joined the inauguration ceremony of the 'Dreamers' Canvas' project virtually, representing Walton Plaza.

Addressing the function, S M Rezaul Alam, director of Walton Hi-Tech, emphasised that Walton is introducing something innovative to the customers of Bangladesh with the 'Dreamers' Canvas' project.

Through this initiative, Walton aims to redefine the way refrigerators are presented to customers, offering a unique and personalized experience, he added.

Alam highlighted Walton's 'Dreamers' Canvas' project as an exceptional initiative within the domestic market.

He expressed his optimism saying that this project would garner significant popularity in the local refrigerator market.

Tofail Ahmed, CBO of Walton Refrigerator, mentioned that there are customers with unique dreams who envision having a fridge designed according to their preferences.

The 'Dreamers' Canvas' project is aimed at fulfilling the dreams of these customers. Walton takes pride in being the first in Bangladesh to offer customized refrigerators to its customers, setting a new standard in the industry.

He further explained that customers will have the opportunity to order a fridge tailored to their favorite color and design, ensuring it complements the aesthetics of their home furniture.

Additionally, they can also choose to gift customised fridges for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, or any other memorable event, offering a personalized and thoughtful present to their loved ones, he said.

Walton Refrigerator's Deputy CBO Anisur Rahman Mollick said, “Walton is proud to offer customers in Bangladesh a wide range of fridge designs and models. With the launch of the 'Dreamers' Canvas' project, we're taking customisation to the next level by delivering refrigerators tailored to customers' desired designs.”

Through the 'Dreamers' Canvas' website, customers can easily create their own designs or choose from a selection of pre-defined patterns.

They can then upload their chosen design, and Walton will manufacture the fridge according to their specifications and deliver it directly to their home, ensuring a personalized and seamless experience for our valued customers, he said.

Azmal Ferdous, head of Walton's Fridge R&I Department, emphasised that Walton manufactures all essential fridge components, including compressors, in its own factory.

He highlighted Walton's cutting-edge printed glass door fridge production plant, which enables the company to produce refrigerators in a variety of colors and designs based on customer preferences.

Additionally, Ferdous highlighted the exceptional durability of Walton's tempered glass door refrigerators, ensuring long-lasting quality for customers.
