Nagad to present achievements of Bangladesh marking its golden jubilee

On the momentous occasion of the 50 years of independence of Bangladesh, Nagad, the digital financial service of the postal division, is all set to present some mentionable achievements of the country before its people, marking the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’ independence.

Titled Bijoy Theke Orjone 1971-2021 (from victory to achievements), will be published and telecasted from Independence Day to Victory Day, said a press release.

The Bangladesh Protidin, one of the most circulated newspapers, and television channel News24 are the media partners of the initiative of Nagad, it added.

Nagad’s Managing Director Tanvir AMishuk said, “We are fortunate for the opportunity to work as a partner in the country’s journey forward. As part of the partnership, we will try to tell the extraordinary stories of the country on the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh.”

The programme will pick 50 out of Bangladesh’s numerous success stories particularly of different ministries or agencies, of which the countrymen are proud.

The stories of winning maritime boundary dispute, sending a satellite to space, the Padma Multipurpose Bridge, the Karnaphuli river tunnel, and Dhaka Metro will be given a place in the list, the release reads, adding that there will be something in the list that have given a special space to Bangladesh on the world’s map and provided the citizens' self-respect.

Besides, the achievement of Nagad, one of the most success stories of the postal division in its 100 years of history, will be focused on.
