Islami Bank holds webinar on shari’ah compliance in banking operations

Sylhet, Mymensingh, Barishal & Rangpur zones of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC on Saturday organised a webinar on “Compliance of Shari’ah in Banking Operations” held on a virtual platform, said a press release. 

Mohammad Joynal Abedin, Director of the bank, addressed the webinar as chief guest while Md Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Director of the bank, addressed as special guest. Mufti Mohammad Muhibbullahil Baqee, Member of Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of the bank, addressed as key discussant. Md Shamsuddoha, Executive Vice President of Shari’ah secretariat, also addressed on the focal points. Presided over by Md Anisul Haque, Head of Mymensingh Zone, Md Abdus Sobhan, Head of Barishal Zone, delivered the welcome speech. Executives and officials from four zones attended the webinar.
