bKash becomes 1st regional sponsor for Argentine national team

Mobile financial services provider bKash Ltd has announced a regional sponsorship agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA), making it the first-ever sponsor of the Argentine National Team in Bangladesh.

The collaboration will enable users of bKash to get closer to the Argentine National Team, with opportunities to win signed shirts and unique experiences, according to a press release.

Claudio Tapia, president of AFA, highlighted the support of the Bangladeshi community during the World Cup and expressed his pleasure for the first sponsor of the Argentine Football Association in Bangladesh.

Kamal Quadir, the CEO of bKash, said that the partnership with the Argentine National Team would explore new opportunities for solidarity through sports and entertainment while also “helping to tell the inspiring story of Bangladesh to the world in an immersive and emotional way.”

Leandro Petersen, commercial and Marketing director of AFA, emphasised the importance of the agreement for the AFA’s international expansion strategy and expressed his satisfaction with bKash’s decision to become the first regional sponsor of the AFA in Bangladesh.
