Prime Bank unique initiative for underprivileged women

Prime Bank is providing hygiene and safety equipment to the underprivileged women of the society, as part of its effort to fight Covid-19 and ensure woman health under the initiative ‘NEERA’.

Marking International Women’s Day, the officials of the bank visited the neighbourhood community of their workstations and helped the unprivileged also with financial assistance, said a press release.

“The initiative titled ‘Month of Neera’ is aimed at making women from all spheres of the society felt special as they deserve the best. NEERA will continue its efforts,” said Shaila Abedin, executive vice-president of the bank.

“This in-person visit to the slums despite the pandemic is a true commitment of NEERA to the welfare and wellness of women,” said ANM Mahfuz, its deputy managing director.

The release said NEERA appreciates the women contribution to national development.
