Global Islami Bank wins ICMAB Best Corporate Award

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has presented the "Best Corporate Award 2021" to Global Islami Bank for its performance in establishing corporate governance.

At the flagship event of the ICMAB held at hotel InterContinental in Dhaka on Thursday, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the award to Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of the Global Islami Bank.

The award has been conferred to the bank after reviewing its annual performance report, said a press release.

It may be pointed out that the Global Islami Bank, previously known as NRB Global Bank, is a fourth generation Bangladeshi sharia compliant private bank.
