Likee creators receive Channel-i Digital Media Award

Content creators with Likee, a short-video creation and sharing platform, Nusan Tasim and Marjia Mimi have received ‘Best Short Video Content Creator 2020’ at “Safekeeper Channel-i Digital Media Award 2020’’.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam, and Former Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu handed over the prizes to the awardees in a program in the capital recently, said a press release.

“It always feels great to receive recognition for any of our creative works. I am very much honoured to have the award,” Nusan Tasim said.

“At first, I could not believe that I was chosen for such a prestigious award. This acknowledgement inspired me to be more focus on my works. Thanks to Safekeeper and Channel I,” Marjia said.

The Safekeeper Channel-i Digital Media Award 2020 has been given in 23 categories.

Apart from this, a jury-board consisting of distinguished members marked the best film, the best drama, the best director and the best actor, the release said.
