StanChart holds ‘Symphony – Brands in Sync’ concluding programme

Standard Chartered Bangladesh recently held the grand finale event for ‘Symphony – Brands in Sync’ in Dhaka recently.
British American Tobacco Bangladesh was named as this year’s champion. Unilever Bangladesh Limited was recognised as the first runner up, while Robi Axiata Limited was recognised as the second runner up, said a press release.
Among the finalists were: British American Tobacco Bangladesh, BRAC, Marico Bangladesh Limited, Robi Axiata Limited, and Unilever Bangladesh Limited. The bands performed a range of songs celebrating patriotism and the spirit of the day, a day which marked the momentous occasion of the inauguration of the Padma Bridge.
Besides, Tahmid Tishad Khan from British American Tobacco Bangladesh was given the best bassist award; Muntasir Mynuddin from Robi Axiata Limited received best drummer or beatboxer award. Then Shafaat Mridha, from Unilever Bangladesh Limited, Grace P Sengupta from BRAC, Tahmid Tishad Khan and Saif Sohan from British American Tobacco Bangladesh, and Khadizatul Kobra Sraboni from BRAC, received best guitarist, best keyboardist, best lyricist, and best vocalist award respectively.
“I hope that this competition is only the beginning of each band’s musical journey,” said Naser Ezaz Bijoy, chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bangladesh.
