Abdul Kader of Union Bank obtains professional doctorate degree

Md Abdul Kader, SEVP and head of Credit Risk Management Division of Union Bank Ltd, has recently obtained a ‘Professional Doctoral Certificate’ in banking conferred by European International University of Paris, France. 

The topic of his Doctoral research was Credit Risk Management in Bank, said a news release.

Abdul Kader started his banking career at First Security Islami Bank Ltd as a probationary officer after obtaining his Honours and Masters from University of Dhaka. He attended numerous seminars and training sessions arranged by Bangladesh Bank and World Bank at home and abroad. 

Besides, his articles were published in various international journals. In his accomplished banking career, he was awarded for his success in achieving investment and profit as branch manager. Union Bank achieved 1st place among all banks in 2021 under his leadership in ACS challan collection.

Abdul Kader is actively involved with Bankers Forum, Bangladesh Public Relations Association and various sports, social and cultural organisations. He travelled to many countries for professional purposes.
