BAJUS to hold gold fair marking Bangabandhu’s birth centenary

Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) will organise a gold fair for the first time in the country to commemorate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

BAJUS president Sayem Sobhan Anvir made the announcement on Tuesday, according to a press release.

Anvir disclosed the information at the concluding remark of a two-day view exchange meeting with BAJUS district level leaders in Bashundhara residential area in ​​the capital.

He said, “The BAJUS Fair-2022 will be inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of the birthday of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”

“We hope number of buyers and traders from home and abroad will participate in the fair - to be held at International Convention City at Bashundhara of the capital,” added Anvir, according to the statement.

The BAJUS president decided to hold the fair for three days, starting from March 17, this year.
