Q1 earnings of SS Steel increase by 3%

SS Steel Limited has posted a 3-percent increase in its earnings in the first quarter ended on September 30, 2021 as against the same quarter last year.
Its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.73 in the Q1, up from Tk 0.71 recorded in the same period a year earlier, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
As of September 30, 2021, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share (with revaluation) stood at Tk 24.32 against Tk 23.58 as of June 30, 2021.
