AL leader distributes winter clothes among poor

Awami League leader and social worker Alhaj Borhan Uddin Chowdhury Murad has recently distributed blankets among ten thousand helpless people at Barkhain under Anwara upazila in Chattogram.
Like every year, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed, Chairman of United Commercial Bank EC, Industrialist Anisuzzaman Chowdhury Rony, distributed these blankets among the helpless, poor and cold stricken under the direction of Director Anisuzzaman Chowdhury Jimmy, said a press release.
Presidents, general secretaries of different wards of Awami League, leaders and workers of various affiliated organisations of Awami League were present at the distribution programme.
“Such initiatives will be enhanced further in the future," said Borhan Uddin Chowdhury.
