FBCCI’s winter clothing distribution begins across country

FBCCI, an apex trade body of Bangladesh, has started distributing winter clothes across the country among the cold-hit people as part of its social responsibility.

FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin inaugurated the distribution of winter clothes at the FBCCI office in Motijheel on Tuesday, said a press release.

He handed over the blankets to the poor madrasa students.

“Blankets have already been sent to 41 district chambers of commerce and industry. Some 50,000 blankets will be distributed to the cold-stricken people. However, if there is more demand in a district, the FBCCI will provide extra blankets to the chamber of commerce and industry in that district,” said Jashim Uddin.

Besides, he assured that “if the situation worsens, the same action will be taken again out of social responsibility”.
