SIBL inks deal with SME Foundation to disburse SME loans

Social Islami Bank has inked an agreement with the SME Foundation under which the bank will disburse SME loans under the second phase of the incentive package announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Dr Md Mofizur Rahman, managing director of the SME Foundation, and Md Tajul Islam, managing director and CEO of SIBL, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a programme on September 16, said a press release.
Planning Minister MA Mannan, State Minister of Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, State Minister of ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana were present at the event, the release added.
