Bank Asia has celebrated the milestone of receiving $1 billion in remittance from January 1 to September 13 this year.
Rumee A Hossain, chairman of the Board Executive Committee of the bank, cut a cake to mark the achievement at the Bank Asia Tower in the capital on Monday, said a press release.
Dilwar H Choudhury, its director, Md Arfan Ali, managing director, Md Sazzad Hossain, SM Iqbal Hossain and Alamgir Hossain, deputy managing directors, Md Zia Arfin, senior executive vice-president and other senior officials from the Foreign Remittance Department of the bank were present at the event, the release added.
