Nagad donates Covid-19 health safety gears to BSMMU

Mobile financial service provider Nagad donated health safety gears to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to help its frontline Covid-19 fighters tackle the ongoing coronavirus situation.

Executive Director of Nagad Md Shafayet Alam handed over 600 pieces of personal protection equipment, including 1,000 sanitisers and 4,000 KN95 masks to BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Sharfuddin Ahmed at the university in the capital on Wednesday, said a press release.

“These personal protection materials will help us and undoubtedly will protect our doctors and nurses,” said Professor Md Sharfuddin Ahmed and thanked Nagad for such an initiative.

Many doctors from the BSMMU and senior officials of Nagad also attended the event, said the release.
