Q3 earnings of Eastern Cables rise

Eastern Cables Ltd’s third quarterly (January-March) earnings rose by 20.26 percent but still in negative territory. 

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday, the company said that its earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 1.22 in the negative for January-March 2021 as against Tk 1.53 in the negative for the same period of the previous financial year.

Meanwhile, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk 10.59 as of March 31, 2021, and Tk. 15.11 as of June 30, 2020.
