Bangladesh Tea Association gets new leaders

Newly elected chairman, senior vice-chairman and vice-chairman of BTA
The election of the Bangladesh Tea Association (BTA), the only representing body of tea garden owners of the country, was held on Thursday at 11am through a Zoom meeting.
In the election, M Shah Alam was elected chairman of the Association and Riazur Rahman, Altamash Hasan was elected senior vice-chairman, vice-chairman respectively.
Elected central committee members are — M Wahidul Haque, Mirza Salman Ispahani, Mohd. Safwan Choudhury, Ardashir Kabir, Imran Ahmed, Salek Ahmed Abul Masrur, H S M Ziaul Ahsan, Tahsin Ahmed Choudhury, Saifur Rahman, Khorshedul Alam Quadery, Monzoor Elahi and A K Azad Chowdhury.
The election was conducted by the Chairman of BTA Election Board Kazi Saifuddin Ahmed.
