Walton AC Service Partner Conference-2024 held in Gazipur

The day-long 'AC Service Partner Conference-2024' hosted by the electronics giant Walton took place at the headquarters of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC in Chandra, Gazipur.

During the conference, a life insurance policy was announced for the AC service experts associated with Walton, Marcel, ACC, and Safe brands. This marks the first-ever initiative in Bangladesh by Walton to provide life insurance policy support for AC service experts.

On March 3, 2024, S M Mahbubul Alam, managing director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, inaugurated the day-long 'AC Service Partner Conference-2024.

With the slogan "We were the best, We are the best and We will be the best," more than 1200 service partners and experts from Walton, Marcel, ACC, and Safe brands across the country participated in the day-long conference, reports a press conference.

Among others, Walton Plaza’s Managing Director Mohammad Rayhan, Additional Managing Director (AMD) Nazrul Islam Sarker, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) Mohammad Yousuf Ali, AC’s Chief Business Officer (CBO) Tanvir Rahman, Deputy CBO Sondip Biswas, Chief Marketing Officer Didarul Alam Khan, Walton Distributor Network’s Head of Sales Firoj Alam, Chief Service Officer Shibdash Roy, Head of AC service Md. Arifuzzaman, Senior Executive Director Tanvir Anjum, Executive Director Azizul Hakim and Marcel’s Head of Business Md. Matiur Rahman also attended the conference.

Popular film actor and Walton’s Senior Executive Director Amin Khan moderated the event.

During the conference, Walton Hi-Tech's MD, S M Mahbubul Alam, delivered necessary directives to the AC service experts to enhance and ensure the provision of top-notch after-sales service.

Alam also inaugurated two new series of super power-saving Walton ACs, including the country's first BSTI 6-star rating and South Asia's most energy-efficient AC, along with the Invertronics series' light commercial AC.

While addressing the conference, Alam introduced a new life insurance policy for service partners and their families nationwide, offering exciting service benefits.

Under this policy, AC service providers will receive Tk1.5 lakh and a maximum of Tk 3 lakh in case of accidental death, damage, or natural death.

Highlighting the services of the experts, Alam said Walton is the only company in Bangladesh with an ISO-certified customer service management system, ensuring top-notch after-sales service through state-of-the-art equipment, highly skilled engineers, and technicians.

"The well-being of every member of the Walton family is paramount to us. Hence, we have introduced this life insurance policy for them and their families. Furthermore, we have appointed a health and hygiene officer at each service center nationwide to ensure their proper health. Additionally, we plan to establish healthcare centers for their benefit. Moreover, our service experts will receive premium services and special benefits, including discounts at various establishments such as hospitals, diagnostic centers, insurance providers, restaurants, and more,” he said.

He also called upon the experts to prioritise providing the best service to AC customers, emphasising that they are the lifeline of the company.

The Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech also announced the establishment of a technical training center at the Walton headquarters, aiming to provide comprehensive technical training for service experts across the country.

A total of 40 Walton AC service experts were honored with a foreign tour for their outstanding performance in customer service.

Alam, and the Managing Director of Walton Plaza, Mohammad Rayhan, presented awards and crests to the recipients.

The participants also took part in a raffle draw event. The day-long "AC Service Partner Conference-2024" concluded with a cultural programme.
