Q3 earnings of Dacca Dyeing decline 68%

Dacca Dyeing Limited has posted a 68-percent decrease in its earnings in the third quarter ended on March 31, 2022 as against the same quarter last year.

Its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.06 in the Q3, down from Tk 0.19 recorded in the same period a year earlier, said the company in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.

As of March 31, 2022, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 35.28 against Tk 34.47 as on June 30, 2021.

Meanwhile, the company had consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 0.79 in the first nine months of the current financial year (July’21-March’22).

The EPS for the same period of the previous financial year was Tk 0.47. As a result, the company’s profit increased by Tk 0.32 or 68 percent.
