Banks to remain open for four hours during lockdown

Banks will remain open for four hours a day during the lockdown that starts from Wednesday.

Bangladesh Bank in a circular on Tuesday said until further notice all banks will provide its services from 9:30am to 1:30pm every day except holidays.

The central bank made the decision after an instruction came earlier in the day from the Cabinet Division.
