Bangladesh Bank has reset the banking hours for customers from 10am to 1pm from Monday.
The BB earlier set the banking hours for customers from 10am to 12:30pm after the government had imposed a weeklong lockdown starting from April 5.
The BB in a fresh notification on Sunday said the branches and head offices of all banks will remain open until 3pm for settlement purposes.
All the regular banking services should be available maintaining the health safety guidelines set by the government, it said.
The government is set to impose a stricter lockdown from Wednesday amid surge in Covid-19 cases.
