BRAC Bank has become the first bank in the Bangladesh banking industry to introduce a toll-free number at call centres.

The charge-free number will bring delight and convenience to the customers as they do not have to worry about phone bills while calling the Call Centre to get essential banking services on the go.

The first-ever toll-free number bears testimony to the bank’s strong commitment to a delightful customer experience, said a press release.

Customers can now dial toll-free 08 0000 16221 from any mobile number round the clock without any charge. This toll-free number is an addition to our existing four numbers.

Equipped with modern technology and expert agents, BRAC Bank's 24/7 Call Centre provides faster services and delivers a delightful banking experience to the bank’s 13 lakh customers.

The most technologically advanced Call Centre handles as high as 2.50 lakh calls in a month making it an alternate delivery channel trusted by the customers.

Commenting on the initiative, the bank’s Head of Alternate Banking Channels Nazmur Rahim said, “We have made a significant investment in upgrading our Call Centre with state-of-the-art technology, including interactive voice response (IVR). The customers can avail of a host of services by calling Call Centre, which saves them a visit to the branch. It gives convenience, liberty, and control to the customers.”

“This toll-free number is the latest addition to our Call Centre capability that will bring more convenience to the customers. As a customer-centric bank, we always consider introducing value-added services to our customers. As BRAC Bank puts high importance on alternate delivery channels, we will continue our effort to launch more technology-enabled services to ensure excellence in customer service,” he added.
